900 Block Proposal – Result of Resident Vote
Thank you for voting on the 900 block proposal.
You voted 87.6% to 12.4% in favor of supporting the 900 block proposal. 121 residents voted. COP will issue a letter of support for the proposal as it currently stands.
Thanks to all who took the time to speak up for the future of our neighborhood by voting. You left great comments and sent in great questions. COP will release the letter of support on our website and Facebook page when it's ready to send.

BDC Responds to Pigtown Citizens' Questions Regarding 900 Block Proposal
Citizens of Pigtown provided all resident questions received via email to BDC for their responses. COP provided BDC each question in its entirety, without editing.

Please Note - After reviewing the questions from Citizens of Pigtown (COP), the Baltimore Development Corporation (BDC) combined questions into groups that asked for the same information or addressed the same topic.
Q: I have concerns that the paved parking will become parking for the dance studio. Is this one of the intended uses of the parking lot? Could parking in that lot be restricted to residential parking?

Voting Now Open on 900 Block Proposal
Voting now open on the 900 block proposal. Click here to vote. Voting will be open through 4pm Monday, July 18. Dependant upon the outcome of the vote, COP will issue a letter of support or non-support for the proposal as it currently stands.
Thanks to all who submitted questions for BDC and the developer. Those questions have been compiled and will be sent to BDC for answers. When COP receives the responses we will post to the website and Facebook page.
About the bid:
BDC received an unsolicited bid for the redevelopment of the BDC-owned properties on the 900 block of Washington Blvd. These properties have had RFPs issued on two separate occasions previously. After the arrival of the unsolicited bid, BDC put out a notice requesting other proposals for 30-day period. No other proposals were received.
